Honoured for sustainable management for the fourth time

MARELLI Automotive Lighting was presented with the certificate of the Thuringia NAThüringen sustainability agreement for the fourth time and was thus honoured for its voluntary achievements in the sense of the agreement.

"Our company has been a member of the network for sustainable business in Thuringia since 2012 and is thus one of the companies that are active in sustainability beyond the legally required level, conserving resources and the environment," explains Stephan Spangenberg, Department Manager Environment, Health & Safety, about participation in NAThüringen.

In recent years, the plant has expanded its agenda for sustainable commitment and resource-saving activities. In the course of this, the company lighting has been converted to LED, a charging station for e-vehicles has been installed and integrated into the energy management system, machine utilisation has been optimised in terms of energy, inefficient energy consumption in the production process has been identified and eliminated, and a regionally well-known environmental project in Trusetal-Laudenbach has been initiated and promoted.
