Thinking about the future with today's developments
Our motivation is to identify trends and develop innovations for today's and tomorrow's automobiles in cooperation with our customers.
This is something that our employees think about day in and day out.
In our development department high-performance products are created. They meet the demanding requirements of the automotive industry, all safety standards and international legal regulations.
Our product and technology innovations not only secure our market position but moreover strengthen our partnerships with automotive manufacturers. They are implemented into our series projects and serve as innovation milestones.
Pioneer in innovative lighting systems
Economical and durable
Compared to conventional halogen headlamps, xenon light provides up to 200% more light with 1/3 less power consumption and a significantly longer service life. This means better illumination of the road surface and the edge of the road.
Additionally, the Daylight-Like Illumination of the Road Enables the Adaptation of Night Vision Natural Viewing Habits.
Reliable lighting performance
Halogen lamps have been used in automotive headlamps since the mid-1960s. Compared to previous models, halogen bulbs offer increased light output and longer service life.
They are Used for All Lighting Functions, such as Lo- Beams, High-Beams, Fog Lights or Position Lights.
Daytime Running Light
See and be seen
In some countries, such as Scandinavia, it has been a regulation for many years and is therefore normal to drive with lights on during the day. It is not so much about "better vision" but moreover about "being seen".
There are Many Favorable Arguments for Driving During the Day with the Lights On, and Thus for Daytime Running Lights in Headlamps.
For more safety
Since 1998, the ECE-Regulation R48 requires that the headlamp range must be compensated for according to the load inclination of the vehicle. This serves to avoid blinding oncoming traffic and to achieve sufficient light range.
In the Case of Halogen Headlamps, this Adjustment may be Carried Out Manually, but only Automatically for Xenon and LED Headlamps.
